From cooltoyreview, Last year, Kenner's Super Powers Collection kicked off our Flashback Friday feature, with the promise of getting the gallery as complete as possible. Today, we're one step closer to that goal with the addition of all of the mini-comics that were included with the figures.
There were a total of 23 mini-comics in the line, with a short story of the featured character battling one of the villains, usually teaming up with another hero to win the day. It's worth noting that Mantis' comic was not numbered, but since issue #17 is "missing", it's safe to say that is where it falls.

That's so cool to see them arrayed together like that. I don't actually remember any mini-comics with the SP figs, but it's conceivable that I just didn't keep them.
I also checked out some of the SP figure pix on that site -- very nice! Lots of close-ups and different angles, like the way they photograph stuff at Rebelscum.
