Serenity action figures suck

I've never seen the show or film but here's another example of the sorry state of action figures today.

And once again, we have Todd McFarlane's sense of "realism" to thank for it. I love Firefly and Serenity, but I'm not likely to buy figures of a bunch of normal-looking humans. But I might think about it if the toys had their own style, like the Justice League figs or even the original Star Wars dudes. But who wants a statue of some guy with stubble and a t-shirt?

Not only that, they all have such stupid poses! I always say, "If I can't put 'em in a car I don't want 'em!"

I'm laughing because I know we're going to make the same gripes over and over again like old men on a porch somewhere. I can't wait!

Oh I love the idea of using this site to repeatedly decry today's toys. also, you are an old man, aren't you like 40?

Hey, as long as can still attract the fly honeys.

And here's a quote from you: "Sigh. I must remind myself that there’s a reason I don’t really enjoy going to the movies too much anymore. I don’t care if I’m labeled a cranky old man."
