It's the most wonderful time of the year
Yep, that's right, Toy Fair 2006 has begun and you can be sure that this is the first of many Toy Fair posts. Here are some of the latest Star Wars offerings. Nothing much to get too excited about. I'd rather see new Star Wars Clone Wars figures (wouldn't a Hammerhead be great?).

Yeah, you should be sorry. Who's the guy in the middle left?
He's a firefighter from Revenge of the Sith. He can be seen for like one second during the scene where Anakin is trying to land Grevious' ship at the beginning of the movie.
Remember "Duck Amuck?" It's the WB cartoon in which Daffy is tormented by the off-screen animator. Probably the best 7-minute cartoon ever made. Anyway, there's a bit where Daffy is a sailor on an island in the distance, and he yell's "Hey! How about a close-up?" And the screen goes black from the edges and shrinks in until Daffy is still far away, but tightly framed by black. Exasperated and sputtering, he yells "THIS A CLOSE-UP?!"
Every time I click on a thumbnail pic and I'm rewarded with the same thumbnail, same size, in a field of white, "THIS IS A CLOSE-UP?!" goes through my head.
